Fire Near Na'an Halts Beersheba and Beit Shemesh Rail Services

Israel Railways temporarily suspended services on the Beersheba and Beit Shemesh routes on Tuesday evening after a fire broke out near the tracks in the Na'an area. The suspension affected the Beersheba route through Kiryat Gat and Lehavim-Rahat, as well as the line serving Beit Shemesh. Passengers traveling to or from Beersheba stations were advised to consider the western Negev line through Sderot and Ofakim instead. Israel Railways said services would resume after clearance from Fire and Rescue; the announcement did not confirm that trains had restarted.
