Israel Railways said at 11:13 on Monday that train traffic in the Ganot area was gradually returning to normal after a temporary closure. Service between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Lod had been halted after a suspicious object was found near the tracks in Ganot. The railway operator said the section had been closed on police instructions. Its earlier announcement said trains would resume once police authorized their return, and the later update reported that traffic was being restored gradually.
