Israel Railways said a localized fault in its electrification network temporarily halted train traffic between Tel Aviv and Lod early Sunday. The operator said repair crews were working to fix the fault and return service to normal, but it did not announce an estimated restoration time in its initial notice. Passengers traveling on the affected central-Israel corridor were advised to consider alternative transportation while repairs continued. The interruption was announced at 5:46 a.m. Israel time, at the start of Sunday morning service.
