Nine Taken to Hadassah After Beitar Illit Daycare Incident

Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital said five toddlers and four adult women were transferred from a daycare in Beitar Illit after an incident involving allergic symptoms. One toddler was in moderate condition and the other patients were in mild condition. Deputy hospital director Dr. Salah Dahar described mainly facial flushing and restlessness, and said the hospital had prepared a protected specialist team after receiving Magen David Adom’s notification. MDA had earlier reported that five toddlers were being transported in mild condition. The substance involved and the cause of the symptoms had not been confirmed.
