Passengers Taken Off Delta Plane at Ben Gurion After Anonymous Bomb Report

A Delta aircraft arriving from New York was moved to a remote parking position at Ben Gurion Airport on the morning of October 13 after an anonymous report alleged that a bomb was aboard. All passengers were taken off the plane while security personnel searched it following the report. Security officials’ preliminary assessment was that the report might be false, but checks were still continuing when the incident was reported. The allegation had not been confirmed, and the report described ongoing searches rather than a completed security clearance.
