Ashkelon Receives Approval for New Bus Stops in Ir HaYayin

Ashkelon has received approval for additional bus stops along routes serving its Ir HaYayin neighborhood, following Mayor Tomer Glam’s approach to the National Public Transport Authority. Representatives of the municipality and the authority are expected to conduct a joint professional survey to determine stop locations and assess the infrastructure needed for installation. Additional service for Makif Vav school is also being examined with the operating company, with an update expected after that review. Glam said the municipality’s work to improve public transport focuses on the needs of students and neighborhood residents.
