Lod Confirms Nearly NIS 1 Million for 30 km/h Zones Near Schools

Lod's municipality has confirmed that approximately NIS 1 million has been approved for traffic changes near schools and kindergartens, including proposed 30 km/h limits on suitable streets. The municipal engineering administration's infrastructure and traffic department will assess locations before deciding where the arrangements can be introduced. The streets have not yet been selected. The municipality estimates that the works and traffic changes will take several months. It plans to notify residents of the locations and driving instructions when the new arrangements take effect.
