Police Arrest Netivot Resident Suspected of Involvement in Car Bombing

Police have arrested a Netivot resident in his twenties on suspicion of involvement in an explosive-device blast in a car traveling in the city. Officers located him while he was traveling on Route 25 and took him into custody. He was then transferred to the Negev Central Unit, known as Yamar, for further questioning as the vehicle-bomb investigation continues. Police plan to bring the suspect before the Beersheba Magistrate’s Court on October 15 to seek an extension of his detention.
