Worker Dies After Intel Factory Explosion in Kiryat Gat

One of the three workers injured in an explosion at Intel’s factory in Kiryat Gat on Wednesday died at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba that evening. The hospital said the patient had arrived in critical condition and died despite the treatment he received. The other two injured workers remained hospitalized in serious condition in Soroka’s internal intensive-care unit. Police had earlier reported three people seriously injured in a fire at the factory in the city’s industrial area and said they were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
