Assaf Rappaport Reportedly Leads Bidding for McDonald’s Israel Franchise

Assaf Rappaport, a founder of cybersecurity company Wiz, has reportedly emerged as the leading bidder for the McDonald’s franchise in Israel, which includes roughly 230 restaurants. The reports describe a competitive bidding process with other participants, but the agreement has not been signed and the transaction is not complete. No confirmed purchase price or signing date has been disclosed. McDonald’s Israel and Rappaport’s representatives declined to comment on the reported negotiations. The reported leading position follows earlier accounts of interest in the franchise.
