Zerto Founders’ Dreeze Targets the Backup Market

Ziv and Oded Kedem, the brothers who founded Zerto, are developing Dreeze as a backup startup intended to compete with Israeli company Eon, according to a report published Thursday. The brothers have been working on the venture quietly for more than a year. The report says Dreeze raised $33 million in 2025, citing a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. That financing predates the newly disclosed details about the startup’s focus on backup technology.
