Washington Post Urges Investigation After Photographer Attacked Near Abu Falah

The Washington Post called for a thorough investigation after its photojournalist Heidi Levine was attacked while covering the olive harvest near Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, on Friday. The newspaper said Levine wore visible identification marking her as a journalist and urged authorities to take action. She was hospitalized after the attack. The IDF said foreign media crews were present during violent friction in the area when a journalist was injured, that the circumstances would be examined, and that it condemned violence against innocent people.
