Hapoel Tel Aviv Reportedly Set for EuroLeague Franchise in 2027

Hapoel Tel Aviv is expected to receive a EuroLeague franchise during 2027, according to a new report citing unnamed sources on the league's expansion. Valencia Basket, Paris Basketball, Dubai BC and PAOK Thessaloniki are identified as the first four prospective additions, expected in early November. The report puts their combined entrance payments at €300 million, comprising €50 million each for Valencia and Paris, about €70 million for Dubai and €130 million for PAOK. It qualifies PAOK's place as subject to an unexpected change and lists Hapoel Jerusalem among other applicants.
