Mizrahi Seeks Serbian Support for Return of International Handball to Israel

Israel Handball Association chairman Idan Mizrahi asked Serbian counterpart Božidar Đurković to help restore international matches in Israel for national teams and clubs. The association announced that the two met in Serbia, where Đurković expressed support and promised to assist with European and international handball authorities. They discussed friendly matches, joint training camps, youth development and cooperation between clubs and professional teams. Mizrahi also invited Đurković to visit Israel. The announcement recalled an existing home-fixture exchange agreement with Slovenia, but reported no approval or date for international matches to return to Israeli venues.
