Elbit Systems Wins $235 Million European Rocket and Launcher Contract

Elbit Systems announced a contract worth approximately $235 million to supply EXTRA-MR medium-range rockets and PULS rocket artillery systems to an unnamed European customer. The Israeli company said the award falls under a government-to-government agreement between Israel's Ministry of Defense and the customer's defense ministry. The contract will be carried out over three years and includes launchers, additional rocket-artillery platforms and integrated logistics support. Elbit describes EXTRA-MR as a precision-guided rocket with a range of up to 80 kilometers, compatible with its PULS launchers and existing command-and-control systems.
