Police Reportedly Propose Dedicated Force to Curb Nationalist Crime in Area C

Judea and Samaria Police District commander Moshe Pinchi has reportedly developed a proposal for a 700–800-member force to address nationalist crime in Area C. The proposed “Brigade C” would combine civilian policing and investigative powers with administrative subordination to Central Command. Patrols would cover open areas from the southern Hebron Hills to northern Samaria, including farms, grazing areas and friction points. Initial staffing would draw on retrained Border Police units alongside new recruits. The plan has not been approved by the police commissioner or minister, and its funding remains unresolved.
