Zlatanovic Double Gives Hapoel Beersheba 2–1 Comeback Win Over Hapoel Jerusalem

Hapoel Beersheba came from behind to beat Hapoel Jerusalem 2–1 at Toto Turner Stadium on Sunday, October 18, in the seventh round of the Israeli Premier League. Vitalie Damascan put Jerusalem ahead in the 35th minute, before substitute Igor Zlatanovic equalized in the 74th. Zlatanovic then converted a late penalty after Ofek Nadir fouled Jevon East, with Nadir sent off for the challenge. The two second-half goals gave Beersheba its fourth consecutive league victory, secured at home.

Difference in reporting

Sources factually disagree on the winning penalty’s minute: Walla and Sport5’s event log give the 84th minute; Sport5’s summary gives the 85th. Both reports confirm Hapoel Beersheba’s 2–1 comeback, Zlatanovic’s two goals and a fourth consecutive league victory.
