IDF Identifies Islamic Jihad Commander and Hamas Sniper Killed in Monday Strikes

The IDF disclosed on Wednesday the identities and roles of two terrorist operatives it said were killed in separate Gaza strikes on Monday. It identified Abdullah Munir Mahmoud Harz as a deputy platoon commander in Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s rocket array who advanced sniper attacks against troops. Muhammad Wael Mustafa Sha’sha’a was identified as a Hamas sniper in its Daraj Tuffah Battalion. The military said both worked to rebuild their organizations’ capabilities and prepare attacks against troops and Israeli civilians, violating the ceasefire. It said precision munitions and aerial surveillance were used to reduce civilian harm.
