Ben Gvir Calls for Separate Israeli and Palestinian Traffic Routes

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for ending shared traffic routes used by Israelis and Palestinian Authority residents in Judea and Samaria. In a statement published Friday morning, he also renewed his demand to dismantle the Palestinian Authority. Ben Gvir argued that protecting Israeli lives should take priority over PA residents’ freedom of movement. He prayed for the wounded and said the incident reinforced a position he had advocated in the cabinet for four years, linking his demands to the difficult morning.
