Hasolidit Warns Crypto Cannot Remove Sanctions Risks for Israeli Investors

Financial blogger Hasolidit warned on Friday evening that potential sanctions could prevent Israeli investors from selling foreign securities, receiving dividends or accessing their funds. She argued that blockchain does not remove legal restrictions because financial institutions handling transactions remain bound by the law. Her comments followed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s interview earlier Friday, in which he said he had requested plans involving blockchain to prepare for possible banking sanctions. Hasolidit called on the Bank of Israel governor and the Israel Securities Authority chair to seek an immediate, detailed public explanation from Netanyahu.
