Forecast Calls for Cooler Saturday and Rain Across Israel on Tuesday

The Israel Meteorological Service’s forecast issued at 04:00 on Saturday predicts partly cloudy skies and cooling, especially along the coastal plain, in the lowlands and in the northern Negev. Temperatures are still expected to remain above seasonal norms in most regions. Further cooling on Sunday should bring temperatures close to normal, before renewed warming on Monday, particularly in the mountains and inland. Tuesday’s outlook calls for local rain across most regions as temperatures return to seasonal levels. From midday, the rain is expected to intensify mainly in the south, accompanied by thunderstorms.
