Israel Meteorological Service Updates Mountain-Fog Warning Until 10 a.m.

The Israel Meteorological Service updated a yellow mountain-fog warning at 5:34 a.m. on October 17, covering the northern mountains, central mountains and Negev Highlands. The warning is valid from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday. The service says mountain fog can reduce visibility, with cloud near ground level particularly around mountain peaks. Its warning guidance identifies possible difficult driving conditions, a higher risk of road accidents and restrictions on light-aircraft flight routes.
