Ackman Says His Brain Research Institute Is in Talks With Sheba’s ARC

Bill Ackman says the Ackman Oxman Institute is in discussions with Sheba Medical Center’s ARC about adopting its medical-innovation model. In an interview conducted on Thursday and first published on Sunday, he described an effort to move medical research and new technologies into hospital care more quickly. Ackman said he had discussed the approach with Sheba director Prof. Yitshak Kreiss. He also said the institute is looking for startups developing brain-computer interfaces and has invested in several. His remarks described exploratory discussions rather than a completed institutional partnership.
