IndiGo and Air India Group Announce Phased Flight Shift to Navi Mumbai
Published
IndiGo and Adani Airports said they are finalizing plans to begin international operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport in February 2027. IndiGo plans to shift 12 daily international departures from Mumbai's existing airport, with supporting domestic connections. Separately, Air India Express plans four daily domestic flights from Navi Mumbai in December 2026, followed by planned Kuwait and existing Oman services from January 2027. Kuwait services remain subject to approvals. The phased changes support redevelopment of Mumbai's Terminal 1 by 2030, while final transition dates depend on coordination and operational approvals.
