Nigeria’s NDC Names Dickson and Obi to Lead 2027 Campaign Council

The Nigeria Democratic Congress announced its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections on Sunday, naming national leader Henry Seriake Dickson as chairman and presidential candidate Peter Obi as co-chairman. The party said the council would provide strategic leadership, coordinate campaign activities across Nigeria and mobilize support. Its leadership list names national chairman Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe as vice chairman and vice-presidential candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as co-vice chairman. National secretary Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu is council secretary, while presidential campaign director-general Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim is a member of the national campaign caucus.
