Rabbi Dov Lior Praises Ben Gvir’s Work on Temple Mount Access

In a letter dated October 25 and addressed to National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, Rabbi Dov Lior thanked him for improving conditions for Jews visiting the Temple Mount. Lior specified that his praise concerned visitors ascending in holiness and ritual purity, entering only permitted areas and observing halakhic rules. He wrote that entry conditions had changed during the past three years and that opportunities for Jewish prayer had widened. The rabbi encouraged Ben Gvir to continue his work despite attempts to discourage him, and closed with a blessing for success and for Israel.
