Saudi-Led Coalition Reports Overnight Missile and Drone Interceptions Over Riyadh

The Saudi-led Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said on Sunday that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia toward Riyadh. Spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Malki reported the interception in an October 25 statement issued at 03:32 GMT. A separate coalition statement issued at 02:12 GMT said a UAV had been intercepted and destroyed in Riyadh Region. The drone statement did not identify its operator, and neither release provided casualty or damage figures.
