Singapore’s Hourly PM2.5 Returns to Normal Across All Five Regions

Singapore’s one-hour PM2.5 readings returned to the normal range across all five regions at 8am on October 25, according to National Environment Agency monitoring tables. Concentrations ranged from 43 to 55 micrograms per cubic metre, within the normal band of 0–55. An hour earlier, the east and west still recorded elevated readings of 61 and 62 respectively. The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index remained unhealthy across all five regions, ranging from 103 to 138 at 8am. The two measures reflect different time periods, distinguishing the hourly improvement from the longer-term pollution index.
