Yemen’s Armed Forces Report Airstrikes on Houthi Positions in Taiz and Al-Jawf

Yemen’s armed forces said warplanes and drones struck positions of the Iran-backed Houthis in Taiz and Al-Jawf governorates on Sunday. The military said the targets included field commanders, troop concentrations, military equipment and firing positions across the two governorates. Armed forces spokesman Col. Majed Al-Nuzaili said offensive operations were continuing to disrupt the group’s mobilization and reorganization. He said strikes were restricted to legitimate military objectives and precautions were taken to protect civilians and civilian property. The release gave no casualty figures.
