Sa’ar Welcomes Peru’s Adoption of IHRA Antisemitism Definition

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar welcomed what he described as Peru’s adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism. Writing in Spanish on X shortly after midnight on October 26, he praised the decision by Peru’s government and foreign minister. Sa’ar described the move as historic and linked it to joint efforts to strengthen the fight against antisemitism worldwide. His message addressed Peru’s Foreign Ministry directly, presenting the adoption as a step in the countries’ shared work against antisemitism.
