Shurooq Says Kalba Beach Construction Is 75% Complete

Shurooq said on October 26 that construction of Kalba Beach in Sharjah was 75% complete, with work expected to finish in December 2026. The planned 700-metre waterfront development will contain 11 commercial units, including restaurants and cafés, alongside kiosks. Its planned facilities include walking and jogging paths, cycling routes, football and volleyball areas, children's play areas, a prayer room and amenities for people with disabilities. Shurooq chief executive Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer outlined the progress during a telephone interview on Sharjah's Direct Line programme.
