Vatican Confirms Pope Leo XIV’s November Trip to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru

The Holy See Press Office confirmed Monday that Pope Leo XIV will visit Uruguay, Argentina and Peru from November 6 to 17, following the previously published itinerary. His physician, Dr. Luigi Carbone, reported continued postoperative recovery and favorable results from the latest examinations. The Vatican said his current clinical condition, diagnostic tests and laboratory results showed no medical contraindications to the journey after his October 13 operation. It said Leo has gradually resumed his engagements, adjusting his schedule in consultation with doctors and retaining periods of rest.
