Tel Aviv’s HaMehuga Offers Free Zine Lab for Immigrant Teens

Tel Aviv’s HaMehuga municipal cultural center is inviting immigrant teenagers to apply for Start Here, a free seven-session zine-making lab in Florentin. The program is open to 14–17-year-olds living in Tel Aviv-Yafo or nearby who immigrated or returned to Israel within the past 10 years. Sessions led by Jackie Doron Levi are scheduled for Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning November 19. Participants will combine writing, images and print techniques to produce zines for a closing launch at the center; no prior experience is required, but attendance at every session is mandatory.
