Al Wahda Beat Al Khaldiya 2–1 to Maintain Perfect AFC Champions League Two Record

Al Wahda beat Bahrain's Al Khaldiya 2–1 at Bahrain National Stadium on Wednesday, October 28, recording their third successive victory in Group A of the AFC Champions League Two. The Emirati club reached nine points from three matches and remained at the top of the group after the away win. Al Wahda took the lead in the 43rd minute and went into halftime 1–0 ahead. Al Khaldiya drew level through Gleison Moreira in the 65th minute, but the visitors restored their advantage in the 74th minute, nine minutes after conceding. The result followed another 2–1 away win, against Uzbekistan's Nasaf on October 14, in Al Wahda's second group match. In that game, Al Wahda scored in the 23rd and 39th minutes to take a two-goal lead into halftime. Nasaf pulled a goal back in the 47th minute, but Al Wahda held on to reach six points from two matches. Their opening group fixture had ended in a 3–2 victory over Kuwait SC, according to the league's account of the Nasaf match.
