Bar Tzabary and Benaia Barabi Release Torah-Study Project Song With Amir Benayoun

Bar Tzabary and Benaia Barabi released “Avraham Yitzhak Yaakov” on October 28, with Amir Benayoun joining them as a special guest. The recording brings the singers together with participants in Veten Chelkenu, a Torah-study initiative that also produces music. It is Tzabary and Barabi’s first collaboration. The artists’ release description links the collaboration to their daily study of Zohar and Gemara through Veten Chelkenu. The song’s words draw on prayer and Jewish sources, with themes of gratitude to God, Torah, faith and shared devotion. Its Hebrew title names Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The recording has been published on Tzabary’s official YouTube channel. Veten Chelkenu’s students are credited with both the lyrics and composition. Avi Ohayon and Matan Dror handled the arrangement and musical production, while Uzi George of SYNC STUDIO directed the music video. Benayoun is identified in the release credits as the special guest alongside Tzabary, Barabi and the participating students. The release is the eighth song from the project founded by Rabbi Chaim David Kovalsky. The initiative brings Israeli artists together for regular shared study and creates a song each year, combining the participants’ learning with their musical work.
