Eli Luzon Revealed as Strong Espresso on The Masked Singer

Singer Eli Luzon was revealed as the performer behind Strong Espresso on The Masked Singer on Wednesday evening, October 28. The audience's decision brought the character's participation to an end and led to the unmasking. The reveal followed a performance that moved panelists Ofira Asayag and Tzadi Tzarfati. Although the panel suspected that the costume concealed a professional singer, its guesses did not identify Luzon. Guest panelist Israel Katorza suggested Shashi Keshet. The evening's other performances included King of Cassettes, Elephant in a China Shop, Holy Cow and Jumping Donkey, alongside the coffee-themed character. The program's explanation of the clues connected the coffee imagery to Luzon's song Kafe Bishnayim. A reference to Gidi Gov pointed to their musical collaboration. A bakery clue drew on Luzon's childhood work in a bakery, which helped him pay for music lessons and instruments. Those clues linked the costume's presentation to both his musical career and his early efforts to pursue it. Other clues referred to his recordings and television work. A magic hat pointed to his performance of the theme song for Afula Express, while dark glasses referenced the covers of Be'ivrit Me'aravit and Hashtika. An image of Osher Cohen was a clue to Luzon's theme song for Laga'at Ba'osher, and an Arabic-film cassette referred to his singing in Arabic.
