Former yes chief executive Ron Eilon is suing Bezeq for approximately NIS 3.8 million over legal expenses and a deferred performance bonus. The civil claim, disclosed on October 29, was filed in Tel Aviv District Court. Eilon alleges that Bezeq failed to meet an undertaking to indemnify him. The claim seeks approximately NIS 3.3 million for remaining legal expenses, including VAT, interest and inflation linkage through filing. Eilon says Bezeq has already paid around NIS 2.4 million toward his representation. His claim states: “The representation included preparation for dozens of hearings.” He is represented by lawyers Yaron Kostelitz and Amit Shalom. The bonus dispute concerns approximately NIS 306,000 for his performance in 2018. Eilon alleges that, after the earlier proceedings ended, Bezeq offered to pay the principal only if he waived interest and linkage. He seeks approximately NIS 428,000 for that component after those additions. Eilon led yes, Bezeq’s wholly owned television subsidiary, from 2006 to 2018. His claim describes legal proceedings spanning roughly eight years, from an investigation in 2017 to the indictment’s cancellation in 2025. Bezeq’s deadline to submit its defense had not yet arrived when the claim was reported.
