Original report
Eitan Tibi headed an equalizer in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Maccabi Petah Tikva drew 2–2 with Maccabi Tel Aviv at Bloomfield on Friday, November 6. The round-10 match ended with two late goals before the league paused for the national-team break. Sagiv Yehezkel put the home side ahead in the 19th minute after a through ball from Issouf Sissokho, and Tel Aviv led 1–0 at halftime. Petah Tikva goalkeeper Dor Hevron kept his side in contention, while Tel Aviv's Ofek Melika denied José Cortés and Liran Hazan and prevented a Raz Shlomo own goal. Petah Tikva drew level after Guy Deznet was fouled in the penalty area by Shlomo. Guy Hadida, who had replaced the injured Samuel Owusu, converted the penalty in the 52nd minute. Tel Aviv coach Kenny Miller made a triple substitution, and Yehezkel later hit the post. In the 90th minute, Shlomo found Yehezkel, whose low delivery reached substitute Aster Sokler for a close-range finish. Tibi then headed in Kyle Spence's delivery in the 94th minute. He did not celebrate against the club with which he had won five league championships. The result gives Sunday's meeting between Hapoel Beersheba and Hapoel Tel Aviv at Turner Stadium a direct bearing on first place. Either team would move one point above Maccabi Tel Aviv with a win; a draw would leave Maccabi ahead.
