Three in Four Young U.S. Jews Maintain Regular Jewish Practice, Survey Finds

A nationally representative Project Prism survey of 2,071 Jewish U.S. adults ages 22 to 40 found 75% regularly do something Jewish. The study, fielded from December 2025 through April 2026, found 45% participate informally at home or with family and friends, while 30% engage through formal institutions. Thirty-nine percent said recent events had made them less engaged or more selective about Jewish spaces, and 11% said they had become more engaged. The Jim Joseph Foundation commissioned the research with Sense Worldwide using NORC and GenLabs panels.
