Israel Seizes NIS 96,000 and Five Vehicles From Released Terrorists

Defense Ministry counter-terror-finance officials, Jerusalem District police and Border Police raided several eastern Jerusalem homes overnight under administrative seizure orders signed by Defense Minister Israel Katz. Authorities confiscated five vehicles, about NIS 96,000 in cash and gold jewelry, with the seized property valued at hundreds of thousands of shekels. The targets were Israeli citizens or residents released in hostage deals who allegedly continued receiving Palestinian Authority payments for terrorist attacks. They included Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Abad, linked to a 2002 attempted Jerusalem suicide bombing, and Hamas member Ahed Faiz Ali al-Natsheh, involved in planning the 2001 Pisgat Ze'ev car bombing and the Clal Center attack.
