Netanyahu Meets Likud MKs Before Primaries Amid Revolt Concerns

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held a series of meetings with Likud lawmakers in recent days, including several on Tuesday, as more than half the faction may fail to win realistic slots in the party's next Knesset list. Attendees included Dudi Amsalem, Hanoch Milwidsky, Avichay Buaron, Almog Cohen and Eliyahu Revivo. An unnamed lawmaker said Netanyahu discussed possible post-election diplomatic appointments after a primary defeat, while an associate denied that jobs were offered and said the meetings concerned the campaign. A senior minister described the talks as an effort to prevent a revolt.
