Likud Primary Count Ends at 100%; Netanyahu Very Satisfied With Final Slate

The Likud vote count concluded Tuesday morning with 100% of ballots tallied, setting the party slate for the October 27 election. Eli Cohen finished first with 46,182 votes, ahead of Amir Ohana with 42,923, Yariv Levin with 41,470, Miri Regev with 38,018 and Ofir Katz with 35,020. Serving ministers Idit Silman, Avi Dichter and May Golan placed outside realistic slots. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was granted authority to fill eight of the first 30 places, said he is very satisfied with the results and that the new list reflects renewal and the integration of new forces at the top.
