Netanya’s Havatzelet bridge has moved from a 2023 building tender to an open connection for the city’s north.

The project links the Gold Coast neighborhood to Route 2, the Coastal Highway. Its reported cost is about 60 million shekels.

The city is developing transport access alongside a district planned for about 3,400 homes. That is a planned total, not a count of finished homes. The opening was reported in September 2026.
