Video transcript
Each step is one of the Central Elections Committee’s 35 published updates, from 28 October at 01:33 (29,379 votes counted in 128 ballot boxes) to 30 October at 00:00 (5,716,665 votes in 12,926 ballot boxes). Seats follow the Knesset Elections Law: lists below 3.25% of the valid votes get none, and the rest share the 120 seats by whole quotients and then by the largest remainders, with the registered surplus-vote agreements. The Committee publishes the official final results by 4 November 2026.
The map places each locality at its Central Bureau of Statistics coordinates. A locality appears once its first ballot box is counted, sized by the votes counted there and coloured by the party leading there; double-envelope ballots, counted centrally, appear as a separate circle. The ballot boxes counted at each update come from the Committee’s per-ballot-box results file as archived at each update by the public elections-vote-transfer project, and each archived file matches the Committee’s totals for its update. At the end each party appears alone with every locality where it received votes, sized by its votes there. Party colours come from the parties’ logos; parties with similar colours also differ in marker shape and line style.
