IDF Warns Hamas Is Rebuilding for Renewed Gaza War

Israeli reports citing Kan say senior Military Intelligence and Southern Command officers warned IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir last week that Hamas's military wing is rebuilding for another war. The warning said Hamas is making hundreds of explosives and anti-tank missiles each month, recruiting fighters ages 18 to 22, retraining Nukhba terrorists, trying to smuggle drones and communications gear from Sinai, and restoring tunnels. Israel cannot let Hamas turn negotiations into a rearmament window after October 7.
