IDF Razes Five Hamas Tunnels in Northern Gaza Yellow Line Zone

The IDF said reservists from the 14th Armored Brigade recently demolished five Hamas tunnels spanning about two kilometers in northern Gaza, on the Israeli side of the ceasefire line. The brigade has withdrawn from Gaza and been replaced by the 179th Armored Brigade. Its commander said the two-month mission focused on defending the Yellow Line area, removing direct threats to western Negev communities and working with Yahalom combat engineers to destroy underground routes. The operation fits Israel's ceasefire posture: keep Hamas away from Israeli civilians while dismantling attack infrastructure before it can be rebuilt.
