Doron Spielman Named Israel's International Hasbara Spokesman

National Public Diplomacy Directorate head Tzipi Hotovely appointed Doron Spielman as international spokesperson for Israel's national public diplomacy operation in the Prime Minister's Office. The official notice says Spielman brings more than 20 years of communications, strategic and security experience, including senior City of David Foundation work and foreign-media service in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. JNS, Times of Israel, Israel National News and Caliber report the same appointment and Hotovely's argument that he can present Israel's story with deep connection to Jewish identity. Israel needs a confident global voice as Hamas, Iran and anti-Israel activists fight the information war alongside the military and diplomatic fronts.
