Gaza Border Towns Draw 5,000 New Residents in Recovery Drive

Tekuma Directorate's 1,000-day progress report says more than 92% of Gaza border residents have returned home and more than 5,000 new residents have joined the region since Hamas's October 7 massacre. Times of Israel, Israel Hayom and Nadlan Center report 43 of 47 evacuated communities are back, Kissufim returned this week at over 90%, and Holit and Kfar Aza are expected to begin returning August 31. The reports say Tekuma has advanced over 1,000 projects under a multi-year budget of about NIS 17 billion. Rebuilding the western Negev is Zionist resilience in concrete form: grief, security and growth moving together.
