Netanyahu: IDF Will Stay in Lebanon Until Hezbollah Threat Ends
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz visited IDF troops in the southern Lebanon security zone, where Netanyahu said Israel will not leave until Hezbollah's armed threat is removed. Israeli and Hebrew reports say Netanyahu credited the troops with pushing Hezbollah off the border, creating buffer zones beyond Israel's side, and reducing the terror group's 150,000-rocket arsenal to about 8%, while about 9,000 terrorists have been killed. He told soldiers to act immediately if they identify a threat. For Israel, the line is straightforward: Lebanon can move toward peace only when Iran and Hezbollah lose the ability to menace northern communities.
