Katz Says IDF Will Hold Security Zones Indefinitely

Defense Minister Israel Katz said at the Second Lebanon War memorial that the IDF will remain in security zones in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza without a withdrawal timetable, protecting Israeli communities from jihadist threats. He framed October 7 as the lesson that Israel must not wait for threats to reach its doorstep and said Iran would be hit again if it attacks over Lebanon. He said troops will stay until Hezbollah is disarmed. Israel must hold the war's gains until enemies can no longer menace border towns.
